Fair - Fair - Fair - Fair John McL A & I went to Dr Terrells to see Mrs T about her membership saw Mrs James we saw Dr Tom rode met with the Yankeys they went to Dr Lins & to Mr Southworths & back again saw 16 men going to Ashland H went to Mr S. & Mrs W Eugene & John went to Miss harrises they & Marny came back I gave Marny some tomatoe plants for his mother set out square in greens ploughing patches by hose & sent to mill for meal

[musk mellon] seed Molly D Bettie Duke & Mr Blum came I set out tomatoe plants replanted water mellon hills etc. Mr Canfield came t borrow my ox cart & oxen etc sent them down turned out the hogs & Federal S. gave Liz 8 ct piece [Lizzie would have been 12] Bob ploughing Frank rakg planting corn took up some corn - sent to mill for meal

Fair - Fair - Fair - Fair Bob & boys went to Carmel or that was to where the Yankeys camped several Yankeys came & got diner & horse etc. Boys went to Cedar V to see Army pass - I went to Kellys. threw up manure etc.

Fair - Fair - Fair - Fair I spent the day at home went o look for horses & cattle the army passing by Chilesburg to Washington Shermans men Mr S & Brooks passed with cattle
