Rain a L/Rain/Rain/Rain I shell 1 ½ bu corn & carryed it to mill Buttlers. I got Caus Southworth to carry a letter to Hewletts for Lucy Holiday about Bible & Him book saw Bro Allensworth – 2 straingers in buggy Mr Smith came this evening I gave him some bearded wheet for seed. Linnie came home this morning.

Rain/Rain/Fair/Foggy I white washed the big room & commenced on out side house Buck Luck came by went to Mr Smiths to tobacco plants got 300 Sandy came to day he & L went to Landora this evening Lizzie E – came down with Lizzie Gwinnet went to Mr Saverys.

Foggy Rain/Fair/Cdy/Rain a L  I went to Hewletts carryed a postal for Lizzie E got a letter for her from north I went to Dr Lins for some turnip seed Emma Jackson was there I saw a great many wagons & carts at mill saw Cousin Taylor at Hewletts took cars for Louisa Welton is at home his wife came Lizzie went home this evening Mrs S. came spent evening I white washed the out side or end of house. I went by Weltons to see him.

Fair a f.d.R./Fair/Fair/Fair Elliot & Mandy came to work the tobacco ploughed weeding etc – skined 10 or 12 poles tobacco-house I patched up meet house & commenced whitewashing etc Lizzie & children & Gwinnet went to Mrs S. spent day – Fannie came to day – returned this evening patched fence beyond gate.

Fair warm/Fair/Fair/Fair Jennet came to plough turnip patch sowed 3 kinds I went to Carmel Lizzie went with me to Edmonds Bro Sam,l was at Carmel Bro Regan spoke altered the Ό meeting to a monthly took collection for painting house got 27 or 37 dollars – Mr Gouldin has bought John Goodwins for $4000. bought yesterday Sandy came to n.

Bro Allensworth was there had a good many persons Sam Day came home with us. Stayed till bed time – Nora England came to spend n Lizzie came in morning Wm D spoke to me to paint Carmel

Miss Pendleton was there Mrs Nelson Topsy & hal came Susan Buckhannon is hear to night. Lewis Redd came hear with Mr Smith – while I was at Bro Sam,l – got a letter from Harriet Ann Tom shot in arm.

Fair very warm/Rain/Cdy/Fair I pulled 4 watermellons the cows got in corn field Emma saw them I patched up the fence – Bro Riggan & Harriet came & sat a while I went to Mrs Southworth the mashine is there Lizzie E came down this morning Gwinnet is at Mrs E. went up this morning – I hived a swarm of bees in Lem Lucks hive let Emma have a ½ bu corn. Susan went home this morning. Big Henry Fox died last night.

Fair warm/Fair/Fair/Fair I went over to Mrs S. to get her cart to hall wheat over cart turned up had to lode again made a little over 3 bu I brought it home chalf & straw carryed cart back I went to mill in buggy did not get flour. Gwinnet & Nora came this evening & went back with Lizzie England Buckhannon Byron & Otho went to river to wash – (Bees went off to day.) Sandy gone to Wares threshing wheat.

Foggy/Rain hard/Fair/Fair I went to Bro Butzners got him to patch my shoes & put heels on Lula, charged 25 cts 10 for L. sister Mills was there. Trevillion passed by. I met Fannie comeing up hear. Mrs Savery spent evening hear Linnie came from Mrs Lambies Sandy came this evening with horse Mrs E Old Lady. I trimed spring path etc Dick Buck spoke for fan

I helped Lizzie to cut up Sumac 130 lbs – I pd Cooper 60 cts for Sandy worked hear to day Sandy went hunting & killed squirl Harris & Cate is at Mrs L saw Jas Smith.

Betty sick & Hill Carter went back by old Mr Buttlers with Bible & him book had a basket peaches & bundles throughn out borrowed a hin of Mrs Perkins – returned it Thomasia & I went to Bro Saml, she sat up all night nearly – Dr Lin came while there left in night Sam came Saw Bro Riggan at Providence
