Fair cold m/Fair/Fair/Fair I helped Jas to shel or shuck corn bated partridge & sat steel traps in swamp & hair trap ahead of gully I started 3 hairs. went to the mill this evening Ct Buttler finished his part of bridge saw Dr Lin Harris etc gave T 10 cts - Fan & Jenny L went to Landora I saw 16 or 17 wild geese going north

Fair cold m/Fair/Fair/Fair I went to look for saddle cloth F lost last n., found it by bridge. Boys went to Golansville & voted before breakfast. & started to Gootchland I went down voted for Walker & Hudgin I carryed a bu of potatoes to Dr. Dickinson for Bro Rone R.C. I got 1/2 pt oil of Mrs S. pd 12 1/2 cts for it Wakeman & Welton voted R. ticket E Redd & Caus [Caius Southworth] made friends & voted cutting wood etc

Fair/Fair/Fair/Fair I went to Harris, & Landora looking for turkeys saw tracks & tracks of some one of them - I went to Huletts this evening got a Letter for Mrs Lambie from Cate, H, is makg my shoes, saw Pertha at Mrs L. saw Mrs & Mr Savery going home broke gig wheel near mill -

Foggy m/Fair/Fair/Fair I put up the corn on flat brought it up on horse cutting wood etc I caught a Hair (mild day) I went w G to scool this morning.

Fair mild day/Fair/Fair/Fair Jenny L came up w horse to go to Gouldinsville to pick nick we started in evening & broke down near Cedar fork w to Mrs L roped up single-tree & went to Huletts Fannie bought lamp & a frock got a letter from H F got one  went to Cate Fannie at Mrs L.

Fair cool day/Fair/Fair/Fair I made a H. trap & sat it on swamp in pasture cutting wood s. . corn etc Mrs S, came this evening says Carmel is burnt down burnt last night Fannie & Jenny gone to Western view to a party to night given by Mrs Spicer & Joh B & Sam B. Rain/Rain/Rain/Rain I went to Golansville to meeting but few persons broke up S.S. for the winter took a collection for church got between 7 & 800 dollars

Fair cool day/Fair/Fair/Fair Jas Wood went to scool, his uncle left last night I went with Fannie to Huletts she got 50 cts w soap went to Dr Lins I went to Clarrence, store got meet sugar coffee & oil to the amount of $2.09 cts borrowed Spicers horse & buggy are up hear, boys fixed stalls for horses went to steem mill for a lode of planks. John is gone to Mrs S. to sit till bed time
