Rain a L/Fair/Fair/Fair I shelled 1 bu corn Jas helped carryed it to mill had ground for chickens Mr Austin was at Huletts I planted watermellon seed all to 7 hills Harriet came up this evening went back. boys ploughing on flat & by spring Sandy & L went fishing he went to Hanover for straw berries etc I gave Mr Austin some water, seed for Mr Hanes Jas gone to Mrs S. put 16 eggs under Fannies - hen my hen quit nest vermin drove her off Gwinnet started to scool.

Fair cool/Fair/Cy/Rain a L I shelled a bushel corn carryed it to mill left it went to Huletts carryed 2 letters one for Wm Dandridge from H, bought 18 cts lemons 15 cts worth soap of Boughn saw Dr Lin & Cady at shoe shop I planted watermellon seed & musk mellon 39 hills have 231 hills watermellon hills on flat Jenny L was hear this evening & Old Mahon. Jas halled some manure to sweet potatoe patch boys planting corn on flat & by spring Tho washing to day Sandy w.fishing

John & Jake Stevens wer working on yard [paillings?] Sue Johns wife was there Fan at Prov Linnie at home Boys halling out manure for irish potatoes Sandy at Landora took of flanel.

Sandy came home got horse gone to Terrells to hall some w John E & croud Lizzie gone to Mrs Lambies. Boys put 23 chickens in coop to go to Richmond tomorrow
