Fair warm thundered/Cdy/Rain hard/Cdy I went to Huletts got letter from Anna & box with sugar for H to make wine Nancy Ballard went in cart to Mr S, this morning I drove cart saw Mr Dervin & Buckhannon at turn out telegraft men had camp or tents at Huletts – Edmond hear this evening Pertha S came girls went to river Lizzee & Pertha came near getting drowned sank 3 times L, Boys ploughing corn sweet potato watermellon P etc Lizzie went with Pertha home Mr Minor – is dead I hear

Cdy/Cdy/Cdy/Fair I sprung some pear & cherry trees manured and worked some I fixed gate & tared it etc Pertha came gone with her home, Lizzie & Nora E came gone for Hantle-burries Aggy Lambie is hear boys ploughing corn – H & children gathering black-burries children went to slash left Linnie & Nora I went to look for them weeding greens budded cherry trees etc Thomasia wed some sweet potatoes on flat etc
