Rain a litle/Cdy/Cdy/Rain hard I set out potatoe plants etc sent John to Bro Saml with a Letter for Llewellyn E & C wer to carry it got a letter from Llewellyn I set out some sun flour plants on walk etc the Yankeys burnt the bridge south river killed 3 of our men [Battle of South Anna Bridge, 26 June 1863 set out potatoe plants old Barn S. plowed irish potatoe patch weeding etc ploughed square in garden for greens sent to mill for flour failed to get it. cutting wheat
