Rain a little/Rain a little/Raining a little/Rain I went to slash cutting wood hall. etc Tom Swann came with - Llewellyn went home this evening Sister Phillips is dead ded in Richmond {shelled corn sent to mill for a bag of meal cutting wood halling from slash put straw in rack halled a lode corn to house Lanzy triming on new ground

Cdy cool/Fair/Fair/Fair  I went to Mr Noels scool house with John & to Mr Noels he was not at home went to Providence to get some medicine for my cough etc John is complaining etc Bettie Redd or Anna & Miss Wilson came this evening Tom Swann came with Llewellyn to night the boys came back from scool Mr N will teach monday. {cutting & halling wood slash halled a lode of straw from E hill put lode in rack etc

Cdy mild/Cdy day/Cdy Rain/Rain  I went with Mr Taylor to meadow to show him some trees he got 2 cart lodes for Anna, she set them out - I walked in E hill Robert went down this evening I sent a letter to Bro Saml for Mary she and Bettie are sick, John & James started to school to day to Mr Noel Wm I sent 20 bags white wheat to Depot by Bob in wagon I gave Uncle Anderson 2 pigs one for Ann & 1 for Emily Talley at 75 cts a piece Ann paid 75 cts for her pig (Boys started to school) (Mr Noel) [Cleaning on meadow sent to Depot with wheat 39 bu white w. faning this evening

Fair mild/Fair day/Fair/Fair mild  I faned out wheat & sent it to Depot Tom Swann came to Breakfast he & John ground some tools on my grine stone - Llewellyn went to Richmond on Edmonds horse I gave him 50 cts killed 9 turkeys to go to town I turned out a young gobler that weighed 21 lbs 2 turkeys to Mrs Swann E hill Harriet went to Bro Saml this evening {cleaning on meadow faned wheat sent to Depot 37 bu 71 in all put lode straw in rack

Fair frost/Fair mild/Cdy/Fair  Shelled Corn sent to mill 5 bu I made a hoe helve for Lanzy, Harriet - got home from Bro Saml, brought me an apple & a letter from Edmond wants cash vexed becaus LWR rode his horse to Richmond I have head ache {cleaning on meadow grubing in new ground by tick spring halled 2 lodes straw E hill sent to mill corn went for meal Bob commenced to plough this evening for corn near T spring - sent box fowls to Depot by Jessey started before day, {hird frogs hollow Robins sing & snipe etc some of the birds think it spring
