F/F/F/Fair  I sent to Depot with cart of trunks sent 2 girls in the carry all to Depot the Gouldins all went down & the Boys. Ann T went home this morning Sister S & Emily are hear. Lucy spent the day Dr Anderson came to see John & Martha sent for him sent to Mr S, for hands did not come the sky was very red in night {cut some tobacco by the barn & put it in the barn faned out a little wheat & oats worming tobacco etc toping sent to Depot with cart etc

Fair/Fair/Fair/Fair  I finished thrashing my oats this morning Mr S sent 3 hands lent him Mary mule for 2 days L Terrell – came by the barn spoke to me for Locus Grove to rent. Anna gave me a ritten notice to rake fences this evening. I went to the mill borrowed – 1/2 bu flour. Dr Anderson came to – see John he complains of his leg a good deel Lewis Redd came to night met with Mr Dickinson {finished thrashing my oats put up drum etc fallowing E hill suckering & worming tobacco have 8 stacks straw etc etc Mr S has my mule

Fair/Fair/Fair/F  I worked in a box for Lucy H and went to Carmel Bro Poindexter – preached Bro Saml came up with me I cut his hair altered a box for Lucy Holiday packed up her things in it etc John, leg looks badly very much swolen {fallowing at Edge hill worming & toping suckering tobacco sent to Bolers mill for meal Mr Taylor & self. .

Rain a few drops/Rain a drop/Cdy/Cdy Rain  I went to Carmel carryed – Harriet & E Sutton in my gig – Bro Sam & Mary came by & carryed Sister Sarah & Emily Jesey carryed the carry all for girls to come back in Bro S & Mary went back home this evening & Cary Miss B Hill & Anna are hear Johns leg broke this evening

Grove he went to see Edmonds land. {commenced pulling fodder by Anna, & corn house toping tobacco worming etc fallowing E hill grubing etc

F/F/F/F  the Dr came to see Martha & Elizabeth we went to Edge hill to see  my – new plough work did not like it went to see Mr Taylor he is very poly with dropsy in chest I went over 3 times to day I went to Edge Hill for bob & Lanzy to stack fodder Mr T, spoke to me to let him have Locus Grove house & garden the next year a man came to look at my cows offered 30 dollars for cow & calf put up a stack fodder {fallowing at E hill grubing etc pulling fodder worming & suckering tobacco

Saw Dr Nelson & Billy Thacker spoke to Mr Buckhannon to swap a little wheat saw Dr Terrell {ground cutting knives worming & suckering tobacco

James & I went to look for her got John Q to go – with us found the calf You Bet, at Bro Terry,s I gave him 50 cts to hire a hand to cut his tops he is qute poly me with Bro Hargrove & Dr Burruss got a check of for tobacco of a S. Samuel 17 dollars & 71 cts. {worming & suckering tobacco E field sent 23 bu wheat to mill river is very high cutting tops in frunt of the house
