The Dr & Ella went to town Mary & Bettie Redd wer to go to Lizzys cow ["sent" lined through] runing in hear {ploughed pea patch ploughing for oats E hill etc sent to mill corn & wheat 13 bu w halling – manure putting drill for potatoes irish by carriage house

Gogin by a slim margin; Daniel Coleman Dejarnette was elected in the 3rd Congressional district] John came by L Cobbs with me – went to see Joh Cobbs Mrs Sutton & family hear to day Miss B. Hill I pd Hancock 25 cts pd J T Luck 10 cts Miss Mary Hill & Bettie came down this evening. Bro Peniton wants to rent Edge Hill for next year & Dervin John went to Bro Saml ["Thomasia & Barbara & I went to ivy hill straw berries" lined through] made misstake of one day {ploughing tobacco Land by Anna, & barn E. F choping hills sent to rail rode etc
