Hail Rain & Snow to day – cool I made 3 or 4 hen nest cleaned out the spring this evening cdy d Clarrence took some medicine to night {cutting & malling rails etc I had the cattle turned out to pick corn & stalks

Fair most of the d. quite cold north west win I made a box for birds & a nest for – Llewellyn,s hen house 2. set a steel trap etc for owl saw about 18 pattridges etc {halling pine tags to cover ice halled a lode wood cutting & malling rails etc Bartlett carryed his ax to shop had it done up

Fair a very cold morning & night last I put up 2 bird houses or boxes at the barn I took Livy in han. set my steel trap in pines. cold day Lewin & Edmond Thomas Redd came this evening I went to ice pond {cutting rail timber malling etc halled 2 loads straw etc etc

Fair cold morning & a cold day I went with Edmond & Lewis to Ma, spent the day Clarrence & Llewellyn went down L caught a Opossum in Mr S, pines Don treed him Edmond Edmond Taylor Redd was at Ma, went home this evening left Edmond Thos at Ma, {cutting & malling rails halling on the fence next to Mr Southwards by high hill or steep hill meadow etc

Fair cold morning the snow was about ¾ or 1 inch deep melted to day I went to Carmel Bro Poindexter preached the shingles caught a fire around stove Bro Peniton & I went up to put it oit. Edmond Thomas Redd & Saml went to Ma, & Eugene came hear Edmond came by etc walked to ice pond Lew caught a squirl; put him in barn. H went to Mr Southward

Fair mild day the snow melted a good deel. Thomasia Harriet & Llewellyn Clarrence went to Cty Line with me, Bro – Broaddus spoke a ittle, meeting was disipointed we went to Mrs Hattons & staid till evening Bro Smith halled some wood down to Mr Hatton cut up a parcel. Dr James stoped up the rode after we passed brought cat to tribbles Mr Taylor sick ever since Sunday {cutting wood halling same, halled a lode straw or two

Fair cold morning mild day I went to see Mr Taylor he had a blister put on him yesterday a little better to day went to shop brought springs etc home with me Anderson keeping store etc I bought 6 cts, worth tomatoe seed went to Mr Taylors this evening stoped at Ma, James T & Linnie laid up {cutting wood malling rails wood etc halling wood for Mr T & Livy halled a lode straw shelled corn sent to mill got chop from the mill

I dined at Ma, with Bro Saml, Sister Sarah & Llewellyn went to Mt Airy in my barrouch Terrell ploughing grubing etc by shops. saw pewee {threshed oats at E Field 34 bushels black 15 golden, threshed Ma, sent to Terrells for oil & to Bro Saml, failed getting it

Fair a mild day warm a part of the day I went to Collins store bought a collar for $1.25 & rope 20. saw Dr Anderson there came by Mr Taylors he was at my barn at-tending to Ma,s oats. Bob & Jessey ploughing for oats beyond the Mt Airy gap by wheet patch, Mr Terrell came we burnt over the corn land, walke on river, gave him some apple sprouts,. I set out 3 trees apple near spring diging poles etc Clarrence came this evening went fishing sowed tomatoe seed {ploughing for oats on fallow land by Canfields sowed 3 bushels black oats diging – holes for apple trees halling rails gardening

Fair cool morning a very pretty day windy I went to E field to giv out oats sowed some this evening went to see Mr Taylor Ll at Ma, H went to Mr Dervins, Thoa went to Mr Southworths, I set out some apple trees makg 21 in all Miss Hill wants to make out a scool at Anna, {Sowing oats 9 bushels by Canfields old cherry tree sent to Depot for barrell goods etc halling rails wood etc Terrell ploughing on gully etc setting out apple trees

Fair mild day I went to E field to give out oats, went to store shop etc, bought 1 yd calico 12 1/2 had one shoe pointed & put on a pair springs altered met with Dr A & Ella, worked on wagon etc, Mr Tate came for some apple trees gav him 15 or 20 trees Anna & B Hill – went to Wiltshires, sent to Wm to mend rod to plough Miss Betty Hill sent me a letter – I set out a wax cherry tree back of garden {sowing oats by Canfields 8 bushels ploughing in with single ploughs ploughing with double plough & rakg in halling sedar poles manure to oat land etc set out cherry tree in garden

Rain last night a little, Raining to night Fair most of the day, I went to Mr – Taylors he & wife are poly, went to Ma, finished sowing oats by Canfields 33 bu ploughed Mr T, garden, commenced – sowing oats at Edg Hill, burnt my field by barn E field, burnt Ma, pasture a part Llewellyn went to Bro Saml, John to Providence James went with Dick Wiltshire home he & John came back {finished sowing oats by Canfields 2 bu to day sowing up home by out gate 2 bu shelled corn & sent to mill sent some for Mr Taylor halling straw manure to oat patch

Fair cool morning mild day cut out my hogs & sent Mr Taylor one 66 lbs & 1/2 bu salt. Edmond went home Mr Harris came to get pigs. Mr Terrell came to put down his horse power, came this evening we finished threshing oats to night let Wm Robinson have one [mid tin?] 9 lbs 1/4 at 10 cts a lb 92 cts Susan S came to night {cut out 3 hogs weighing 235 lbs one for – Mr Taylor 66. put down Mr Terrells horse power went for my drum put it down & threshed my oats

Castle {sowing oats 6 bu sowed some golden rufle sowed clover seed this side meadow halling rails a[m] fencing from barn to swamp & on creeek etc
