Fair old. looks like snow to night, I went to Cedar vale Bettie wrote a note to Ella for cake etc I carryed some letters to go to Depot Billy Quarles at Providence. brought up some letters yarn etc sent some advertizements one to Gatewoods one to go to Depot {halling wood fallowing grubing cutting down stalks etc

Rain most of the day cool I made axe helve for Henry growned cutting blades etc Susan Southworth came to day Mrs Dervin came by went to Anna {halled some wood fallowing shelling corn ground cutting knives etc etc put some light wood [kindling] in end room kitchen -

Rainy day it rained most of the night last I fixed rat trap set or put it in Barn I started 2 turkeys shot at one 3 times & killed one in Landora Susan S is hear etc {shelled corn striping tobacco etc etc

I went to Cedar vale Bro Saml, & Barbara wer there went home this evening sent for Aggy Llewellyn at Cedar vale Thomasia is with Louisa sent for Lucy.
