Fair a very cool morning I patched up the barouch & carryed H & James to meeting Cty Line Bro Foard preached several persons – went to anxious seet Tomas Awl & Miss Nancy Hawle was at meeting Miss James came with up [us?] this evening Lanzy went for the flour {fallowing worming toping & suckering tobacco sent to the mill

Fair I carryed Harriet & Miss Mary Jones to Cty Line H. went with Mary home. 3 persons talked to the church 2 Lucks & Allen Ella came up this evening {sent a pot butter to Chesterfield – sent to mill for meal fallowing worming tobacco pulling fodder commenced by Rock spring

Fair I went to Goaldans ville to Election voted for Morris Charles for C, Turney [county attorney?] met with the Dr notifyed the hands to work on rode in the morning Lucy & Bettie G came to day & spent the day got a note from Dr Terrell about carriage I can get it John went to Cty Line for Harriet sent bull home Colemans, {fallowing by barn E field finished by Canfields pulling fodder etc

Fair cdy most of the day worked on main road Anna failed to send till late I saw Saml Anderson & S Redd I went for carriage Dr Terrells {working on road worming tobacco shocking fodder etc

Fair warm day Bettie Gouldin came & spent the day Lucy came & went with me to Ma, Ma went with me to Carmel Bro Thomas preached I borrowed $5 of Bro Hargrove & pd it to church – Bettie Ann came to day from Richmond I patched my harness carriage washed it etc worked on road & by rock spring & [main?] etc {working on roads fallowing putting up fodder etc

Rain a pretty shower this evening warm I carryed H & Betty Gouldin in carriage to Carmel Bro Thomas preached tex 1st Corinthians 3 ct 11 verse Llewellyn carryed Lucy G & John in barouch. ben came from shoe baptizeing this evening at Oxfoard audained Dr Dickinson for Decon -

Fair a cool morning & evening I gathered apples & put them in the shop patched it up, sent to mill for stabs [slabs?] & put a loft in shop etc I carryed Ben to shop had his shoe taken off & put on again I spoke to Ct Buttler for corn at $4.50 cts a bl I bought things in store to the amount of $4.80 cts {pulling fodder washed & greased carriage harness patched it etc halled wood slabs etc etc

Fair warm I went to Mr Longan John pd me for ox – cart bought of me last year twenty dollars $20.00 in full I stoped at Ma, John Mc brought up Louisa Terell & Emily Anderson Eugene came I took some honey about 1 bu or 1 1/2. out of the bee house James Cobbs died to day died in faith {worming tobacco suckering etc at E field & E hill

Fair a frost cool day I went to look – for ducks & turkeys, I went to E field & to Ma, carryed Lizzie to see Ma, I went by Hacketts sale Mr Fountain bought Jerico Dr Anderson bought Hackneys John Quarles bought the old place for 7 dollars pr acre. mill sole for $450.00 I went to Carmel with Dr Lin he came with Bro Jones, they both spoke in – meeting, saw Edmond Thomas Redd & Saml at Anna, got a note from Hart Hays & Co {cutting tobacco at E field worming – cutting tops putting up a stack blades
