Raining to night commenced this evening a cool day I put the barge boards on shop & fixed handles on Bobs plough Charles Harris came for my gun & the owl Llewelyn went to Goldans Sille [Goldansville] to trap he went to Terrells met with Clarrence H went to Mr S,s turned out my cows in pines etc Jessey got 3 stamps of Sturn {planting corn diging out holes for watermellon hills etc halling chalf etc – sent to the Depot sent a letter & advertisment for my land to Mr Dandridge |

Rain most of the day mild weather I received a note from Charles Harris for powder etc thundering & lightning to night. {finished ploughing corn land and ploughed pea patch by B. S. shop – sent 6 bushels wheat to mill & sent for the flour this evening got 221. lbs flour 75 shorts etc ditching halled a lode chalf & straw wood etc Bob mended Llewellyn, shoes etc |

Rain showery I patched up the black smiths shop & [stip?] etc windy day it is raining now the river is rizeing sent to Providence for some medicine Bro Saml went there for Molly & Bet I had some plaster salt & lime sowed on my wheat 1 bu & peck plaster 1/2 bu salt 1 peck lime mixed saw large bat this evening. Fair windy day the river is quite high I walked down to it Edmond came by went to see Wiltshire about horse came by this evening I went to Ma, saw Miss Fannie Noel & Ella & Emily there rode to look at my wheat Charles H & Llewellyn went crow hunting etc Lewis was at Ma, Fannie coughed up the corn in her win pipe last night about 9 ock last night {Bob malling rails Lanzy halling up chaff shelled 1 bl & 1 bu corn & sent it to mill sent 1 1/2 bu to Terrells mill rakg corn land this evening rakg up manure halling to turnip patch for tobacco sent to Mr S, for gobler put 1/2 bu seed corn in soak this evening |

Fair mild day cool morning I went to look for my cows went up as far as New Markett hird nothing from my cows there is to be a weding at Col Wallers to night his daughter is to marry I went to mill Mr Gregry is gone went to Col shop got brass from – Edmond Lewis John McL Aanderson came to dinner from crow hunting. I planted my Wyendot corn 24 grains to day, ploughed up my garden by rock spring & planted 24 grains (corn wyendot), manureing watermellon hills, halling out manure sent to look for cows ploughing pea patch |
