Rain a shower this morning a warm day I fixed the closet & red washed the bricks etc Llewellyn came on Bro Saml horse & went back etc rote a letter to Wm Dandridge – to get a tun of guano for tobacco Cousin Nancy Radford at Ma, Money w\Redd went to Washin to be married [Edmonia B. Redd, 1836-1861, married Gustavus G. Carter]{choped over tobacco hills & ploughed patch by house & choped it in etc weeding corn etc made white wash.

Rain a few drops very windy day – I trimed some peach trees, set out some tomatoe plants watered them, it rained – last night some I rote 2 letters one to Mr Wood the other to Mr Gooch all of Louisa Cty Llewellyn carryed them to Depot had a pr pants cut & coat by Valentine price $1.00 Kitty S – passed by {Lanzy went to Depot for guano brought up seven bats sowing it by barn E Field ploughing it in weeding corn sent to Ma for collard plants & Mr S, set them out
