Cdy most of the day Rain last – night mild day workg on side pieces & rat trap Llewellyn went to Depot to have a coat cut & for the things brought up 3 bundles cotton some dye stuf, etc Edmond came to night I killed a halk by the barn Bro Saml, wagon came by this evening. Moses Thacker is dead {cutting down corn halling shucking shelled a rurn sent to mill etc etc halled a load wood etc

Fair, cdy evening, a large frost, cold morning Thomasia & I went to see Mrs Hatton left Harriet there the minks killed – 5 or 6 chickens for Llewellyn he & [Cobb?] squirl hunting this evening I set 2 traps for the minks. patched horse cart caught him by rock, or before {pulling off the corn & halling it up put it under the cow shelter etc
