Fair a large frost I saw (ice) cutting tobacco I went to Ma,s & E Field & to the turn out Huletts for guano got 13 bbls- 2 tuns met with Bro Saml & Cousin Fanny Taylor Ann & Mr Tally allat Ma,s the girls went to my barn- saw edmond turn-out cutting tobacco at E Field cut moor than half halled 2 loads guano from hanover

Fair very warm day. Lewis borrowed a trowel to patch the parloere at Ma, I went to E Field faned out 18 bushels of Matthews wheat washed & s sowed near a bushel by Canfields etc siftered 2 bags & 2 barr4lls guano sowed a part of a bag etc set out some hair grass by barn etc (wheat sowed 1 bu) faned out 18 bu wheat sowed 1 bushel washed 3 bushels in brine siftering guano etc cut a little tobacco [wheat sketch]

Fair warm foggy soon in morning I went to Ma,s this morning for 2 pigs could not be found I sowed 3 bushels wheat etc ploughed it in Mr Talley rode ben to Mrs Cobbs to see about oxen he came hear & spent the day Ann Emily Betty Red & Lucy came they all went back to night to Ma, Canfield got 10 bushels of wheat from me to day. Mary at Ma, sick (3 bu wheat) sowed 3 bushels of wheat ploughed it in washing wheat etc cutting tobacco at Locus Grove etc halled a lode or two up hear put it under shelter in a pile

Met with Ann Emily & Lucy I went by Hancock, to see about his land he was at the Depot Betty made some tomatoe pickle. Thomasia came in Bro Saml, carriage John got back from Richmond at night wheat sowed 3 bu showing wheat 3 bu cutting tobacco & hanging, rakeing over the wheat land etc ploughing in the wheat except land between posimon & cherry tree

Rained last night I went to Ma,s and to E Field sowing guano & wheat by Cabbins etc Mrs Harris at Ma,s & C - Llewellyn got back from Richmond this evening a great many persons at the fair H went with Columbia saw bartlett about pistol wheat sowed 28 1/2 bu sowing guano & wheat sowed 3 1/2 bushels and ploughing it in etc diging sweet potatoes & housing etc etc etc
