Fair cold day the snow fell one inch or 1 1/2 in deep last night I went to Ma,s to see if her Dog up. thought that he was bitten by a mad dog & Anna,s dog was bitten one weak ago. Went to Fleming Cobbs to see him about putting his dogs up they wer bitten by a dog Sunday or Monday night last he has them in a pen etc carryed a food ads [foot adze] to Winstons shop tohave it mended came by [r?] S & C store bought a yd & 1/2 of cloth at 10 cts 15₵ cutting & halling wood |

Cdy cold day I went to slash [swamp ground] for a lot to make Tobacco staves sawed off 9 or 10 logs carryed 2 to the mill etc I stoped at Ma,s. Llewellyn came from Bro Samls & went to store etc etc 2 ewes had 3 lambs - to day Bettie R Durrett was married to Dabney to day. halled 2 logs to mill brought up a lode fodder halled Mr Taylor a lode wood Cleaning up the upper part of the meadow cutting wood. |
