fair a little cooler north win Thomasia & Barbara & I went to Mrs Terrells Mr T & I went to see Mr Martin. We caught 3 fish. Louisa Terrell came over & spent the day Finished cutting my rye ploughing the corn by barn in orchard & on long gully towards G Ss weeding peas thined the corn in apple orchard

Rain showery morning Mr Mahon came to get some shingles to patch up the barn sheds at E Field I carryed Thomasia & Barbara to Ma,s this evening Louisa came this evening from Mr Terrells Mrs Dickinson was at Ma,s this evening I wheted the X [cross] cut saw & sawed some timber for shingles sent to store for 6 lbs shingle nails. Halled 3 or 4 logs to barn for shingles we[r] small ploughing the corn in orchard etc choping over tobacco hills & weeding etc

Fair a warm day John came up in buggy to carry Louisa to E Andersons. I carryed Barbara in the Barouch & dined there came by Bro Saml & brought Molly over to Ma,s Sister Sarah Emily & Betty came up & spent the day hear Mr Mahon getting shingles & patching sheds ploughing corn halled up wheat by Canfields

Fair warm day I went to Ma,s & Bro Saml was there we went to Carmel Bro Fox preached we had a sale of the things in the Division room came by Ma,s sent to Mr S for a yoke of steers belonging to Mr John Longden & put them to work halling up wheat & weeding tobacco & ploughing corn etc

Fair a warm day I went to Ma,s went to Carmel the girls went Bro Fox preached we walked to ma,s this evening Joh Collins was there Molly & Betty walk with us a part of the way -

Rain in evening carryed Harriet by store carryed the horses to Ma,s for the girls Molly Betty & Emily Betty came up with me Mr Grantlin came & [stoped?] the girls they came up in the evening in barouch halling up wheat & poughing etc

Rain most of the day a very hard rain this evening set out some potatoe vines etc watermellon vines etc a pedler in oil cloth came by. sent to Landora for tobacco plants & set out some sent the cart for them etc

Fair a warm day I carryed Mary Betty & Emily to Ma,s in barouch measured up 25 bushels of corn for Mr Hancock went to Locust Grove setting out tobacco the hogs got in my oat patc[h] I made a rack for the swamp by the Rock Spring H at Mt Airy Llew at Ma,s sent to Landora for tobacco plants setting out etc sent to Providence for plants could not get them etc set out some greens in garden

Cdy day pleasant day my hogs got in my oat patch Thomasia & I went to Ma,s this evening Edmond came by & went with us I rode to mill carryed Betty Molly & Betty went across on the bridge Sam came over Sister Sarah & Emily rode to the mill Betty weighed 106 lbs Molly 95 Emily 110. John Dickinson came with the boys sent to Landora for tobacco plants & to L Cobbs reeplanting thining cotton etc ploughing corn etc

Rain fine rain shelled corn and sent 1 barrell to mill for Mr Hancock sent some for self Thomasia & I went to Mr Harrises I went to look at his steer he came down with me I gave him 30 dollars for his steer - he carryed some potatoe vines to set out etc Thomasia has Headake Joh Swann is hear to night shelled corn sent to mill 1 barrell for Hck cleaned up the barn at E. Field to put the wheat in ploughing cotton patch corn etc choping the tobacco ground at E Field

Fair warm I went to Carmel to division room met with Bro Saml etc came home & we went over to Bro Saml. John is at home Bro Saml brought up some plough points for me 1/2 dozen $108 cts cost he pd Bro Wortham 12 1/2 cts for me we stoped at Dr Lins in the evening. halling up wheat EF weeding cotton ploughing etc

Fair a very warm day we went to Mr Edward Andersons & spent the day Wm Dandridge was there Dr Terrell & Charly I sent for bags of salt by D - looked at Mr Andersons cattle came to Bro Saml's at night finished halling up the wheat, at E Field ploughing corn etc

Fair very warm d I went to the turn out & to Mr Noels to value a parcel of hogs that the Cars ran over put the sow at $8. & the others at $6d a piece John went with me carryed my hoes to Bro Saml,s I came over to Ma,s & home I went to Mr Harrises for a steer & brought him down this evening Thomasia & children has not got home yet Harriet was sick etc Bro Saml this morning Mr Harris is quite poly with disentary Jessey laid up today cutting oats on the river

Rain a pretty shower to night thundered a good deel Lightened etc a very warm day in deed Lucy Robinson & Henry Curtis  came from Kentucky got to Ma,s this morning to breakfast I went to Ma,s to see them & dined Curtis went back to Depot on his way home Cincinnati, O he is keeping a book store Canfield lost his horse Columbia came to night Mr Mahon came to breakfast this morning got 1/2 bu corn got 25 bags from Depot shelled corn for Mr Taylor & self & Mahon sent to mill cutting oats on river beyon the high hill no 1 field.

Fair cool & windy pleasant day I went to Bro Taylor Lucks & Ct Bibbs to get a han[d] to cut oats the Ct promised to send Monday - Mr Mahon came & cut from 9 ock till 1 hour by the sone this evening Mr T Jones came by with a note from Hudson to me Llewellyn got back from Mr Talleys this evening Barbara Harriet & Emily went to J Dickinsons Mt Airy there was a great crowd at Mt Olivet shelled a turn of corn 3 1/2 bu sent to mill brought up the meal ploughing a little etc getting oats on high hill

Ct Bibb sent a hand to cut oats Denis is his hame finished the field next to the river no 1 cutting back of the shop John & Sam wer at Ma, this evening & carryed Barbara & Emily home Molly is quite sick faned out 27 bushels oats & baged them cutting oats ploughing corn etc

Fair a warm day we went to BroS,s in the evvening and Harriet Betty Barbara & Emily went to Mr Talleys to a party John & Sam went & Llewellyn & Lucy went in the morning Barbara D & Louisa T at Bro Saml Billy & Mercer putting up a house at Bro S,s the old meeting house Ma, had a sheep killed by a dog or dogs. Mr Mahon cutting oats finished by eleven oclock Ella & Mony has a son a piece finished cutting oats & ploughing corn etc

Fair a pleasant day finished halling up the oats & rye in the field no. 1 I went to Ma,s & to the mill Blunt was under pining the bridge mud [sill?] saw Tom Terrell etc Llewellyn came home Ann Dickinson came this evening I carryed Roxilla to Ma,s pasture put the Cows in oat field & horses & mules stacked the rye halled one load of oats & put them in barn to cut up halling oats etc

Spencer came in to Miss Marry Hill she is to give $1000 for him Talley S came to night. finished halling up the oats sent wagon home fencing by out gate next to Ma,s working on  garden etc shelled a turncorn sent to Offley mill

Fair I went to Cty Line Bro George preached a good sermond Tom Terrell spoke to the church & 2 [ladies?] I hird to day that Charles & Willy Gouldin died a few days ago (Charles) Sundy they are all sick Anna  & Moriah went down to weight on them finished weeding the tobacco & weeding the cotton etc
