Fair a little cool I went to Ma,s with Bro Saml & girls saw Dr Gouldin at Ma, he says the fish costs $[6?].75 cts the rye $1.00 a bu he carryed Lucy down Bro S & girls went home the girls Louisa & [Marceller?] [Marcella?] went to Providence this evening I carryed the[m] they got back from Mrs Hills about 7 ock the Dr gave me some Rescue [fescue?] grass seed this evening Marcelius & Lin & Tom at Providence halled rails & made a cow pen & sowed one in turnips between this & shop pulling fodder by shop on new ground |

Fair warm day I gave Bob a peck of Rescue grass seed to sow he ploughed the the land etc near the corner of my field near Ma,s Thomasia & I went to Cty Line Bro Manly preached a good sermond Text Matthew 10 chapt. 28v James H Smith got a fall-out of his gig broke both of his shavs etc [shafts] Betty G sent to borrow my mules ploughed a piece land for R grass seed sowed them sent a box eggs & butter to Depot pulling fodder finished new ground etc shocking fodder etc gathering peas etc |
