Fair a large frost cool morning I commenced fencing at outgate on main road & finised Mr Southworths fence he & Canfield helping Mr Southworth found 2 pheasants nests 23 eggs I set them under a hen saw the Dr passing on main road Bro Joel Luck sent cow down  to stay a while fencing for Mr Southworths & self carryed a lode rails to out gate the steers ran away grubing cow pen etc planted some corn etc Bartlett went to Providence etc

Fair cool we went to Ma,s & dined with Bro Harris Mr Gouldin & Sister Wortham & Burruss & Emily tally got an order from [?] by Jessey for $2.62 1/2 cts for potatoes finished halling manure from stack ploughing & rakg scattering manure etc Killing caterpillars etc planting a little corn coaltering etc etc

Fair mild day  I went to Carmel to the Division room they appointed me one of a commity to get signatures to stop licence in county etc gave a dinner, but few persons some Miss Masons at meeting I found Annsa cow in my oat patch boxed up the pheasant hen sent to have fence put up by barn etc altered 3 hogs Bro Saml & Mr Noel brought there dinner together coaltering & weedingcorn sent for lode straw altered 3 hogs

Fair warmest day we have had I think this season I cut the walks around yard made 2 benches cut a seder [cedar] for horse rack barcked it etc weeding corn by rock spring coaltering & cultivating the corn in front of the house etc etc
