Raining tonight it commenced one hour before had a most tremendous rain had a great deel of thunder & lightning the bigest rain we have had for a long time finished cutting rye Mr Trainham was at work on the well house at Ma,s under pining etc I borrowed Ma,s cart patched them up mine & Ma,s put bottum in my cart body halled the wheat up by shop 3 loads hitched up the buffaloes very unruly finished cutting rye & halled some wheat up ploughing corn killing cinch bugs etc

Anna & Betty went to Mr Gs. finished stackg wheat 2 stacks ploughing etc weeding corn

Fair mild day I went to Posimon Hill halling up rye 7 ox loads put it in barn Aunt Emily & cousin Mary Ann Morris are at Ma,s I went to Mr Gouldins for jacket etc I sent Joh to Mr Wm Southworths to cut oats after breakfast Llewellyn at Bro Saml,s Miss Molly Luck died to day ploughing halles out corn halling up rye set Edmond to work this evening brought up some top fodder etc

Fair Rain a few drops at Cty Line we went to Cty Line to meeting Bro Seay preached in the morning Bro Camp in evening Mr Alphred Duke spoke to church & was received for Baptism there was Baptizing this evening among the colored persons a great many persons at meeting

Raining to night Lewis went home this evening we went to Providence to prayer meeting but few persons fenced in hay stacks weeding corn etc etc
