Fair cool day I sent Betsy Gray to L Terrells to sell, I killed a beef Robin, I went to Ma, & to Anna, shaved Mr Hill. Mr Harris walked up with me from Anna sent for 1/2 quarter beef 40 lbs at 6 1/2 cts a lb $4.55 I gave 2 horses 2 table spoons of copperoous [copperas - iron sulfate as cathartic] between them Thomasia walked to Ma, I rode to G Southerlands to sell him qt beef ploughing grubing halling wood & loging up some in field malling rails |

Cdy most of the day cool day Mr Southward came this morning & spoke for quarter of beef at 6 1/2 cts a lb sent it to him this evening it weighed 135 lbs hine qt sent cart for it L Terrell sent my horse back did not sel her brought some letters one for Molly Sister Sarah & Emily Llewellyn carryed them he went to Bro Saml to night I saw a large fire at Mr Gouldins near there I wheted saw & cut I hewed 4 pieces for cart do day burning at plant bed & sowed 2 in pasture burning brush ploughing finished the meadow halled 2 loads leaves in ice house halled wood to burn plant bed grubing etc etc etc etc cut out quarter beef & a piece |
