Fair very warm day Dr Anderson came by twice to day to see the child I went to the Depot see about wheel saw Fleming he says he carryed a wheel to Richmond saw Mr Kean Thompkins & Ball at Depot came by Mr Noels saw puppeys went to see Martin he is to come to work this week pulled 1 watermellon to day May day took bull ploughed tobacco about hay put up one stack

Fair warm day Dr Anderson came by sent Jessey to Providence with letter & Ma,s Sister came up gave them a watermellon I pulled 3 to day Lucy Robinson came to get me to direct a letter to John Fitzhugh Mrs Gr Southward came this evening with peaches stacking hay put up 5 stacks on meadow halled up hay etc

Fair warm day Mr Martin & I finished the fan Mr Hall came to see me about hog killing etc Martin worked one day makg 2 days. Ann E at Ma,s this evening I pulled 3 watermellons gave Hall one Dr came by sent a letter to Depot for Wm Dandridge about wheel cutting hay nearly finished fallowing weeding tobacco opening hay shocking halling out etc.

Fair very warm day I went to Ma,s to see Ann Talley she brought me a tarryer dog puppy I came home faned out some wheat for Ma, went to Carmel Bro Coalman spoke he accepted teh care of the church I stayed to Division 9 persons there caught Bro Saml's horse by riding after her fallowing weeding tobacco stacking hay pu u 4 stacks etc etc etc

Ts. cloth from Richmond. fixed horse power carryed it to Ma,s worming tobacco toping etc etc sent Garland to Providence
