Fair mild weather I came over home from Bro Saml & went back in the evening Bro Saml & wife got back from Richmond this evening Molly out again I commenced sowing wheat & rakeing it in sowed 4 bu ball head wheat on the high hill by rock spring Williams went home to night 4 bu rakeing the land by Anna sowing wheat 4 bu commenced shucking corn at my stack cutting down & halling etc. |

Fair a pretty day Mr Gouldin came to turn cogs & spent the evening did not finish I went to Dr Andersons engaged some bricks & fan etc went to Bro Saml brought my book & some cotton for Thomasia Dr quite poly with coal [cold] Bro Talks coming over tomorrow & send iron etc to mill Williams came to work on chimney Grimes came to breakfast ["Edmond Redd brought an old wagon of Dr N Nelson for $100" - lined out] sent to Depot for frock for Thosa 7 bu sowing wheat on the river mammouth sowed 7 bu to day finished the field halilng up corn shucking etc dug my potatoes back of the garden 3 hampers full rakeing in the wheat choping a round stumps etc |
