Fair cool & windy day the wagon & cart went on the way to Richmond with 70 bushels wheat John Tom & Llewellyn went to Richmond I walked to Mama this morning Mr Noel came up & dined a peddler came by to day from Mama, started to Richmond with wheat dug Ma, sweet potatoes shucking corn ploughing commenced for oats by Canfields |

Cdy & cool day the wagon and cart got back from Richmond to diner came by Bro Saml & left his guano brought up salt sugar etc etc left Llewellyn in Richmond Tom Grimes had 50cts in Richmond & Peter 75ct5s pd by John brought shears etc etc for John Tate got 85 cts for the wheat Sparkes $1.00 worth cotton bought in Richmond 1 ton plaster shucking corn cleaning up etc faned & baged 40bu wheat to start to Richmond tomorrow |

Fair cool day I went to Providence to meet with Bro Saml & Edmond to hunt Tom went down we started a good many birds killed 12 or 15 I killed 5 or 6 we went to the barbacue at Carmel Mr Clemend Harris was there Sister Sarah & Emily got back from Dr Gouldins Molly at Mama, John went to Rehoboth [now a Methodist church] his brother James came with him hear to night finished houseing corn put up 6 barrells to day mkg 65 barrells in all put in corn house putting away my turips sent a cart lode to Mama |
