Fair rained last night a good deel I went to Carmel Bro Broaddus preached he & his wife came to Ma sent my coalts to the old place to graze Mr Taylor at meeting I stayed to the division pd 25cts 36 cts to the church Grimes worked half day Mr & Mrs Dandridge went to T Castle this evening halling straw etc to river field next to ivy hill grubing there etc. |

Fair mild day we went to Carmel Citty Southwared went on with us Bro Broaddus preached received the sacrament to day a great many persons at meeting Betty Redd joined the church to day Mary was at meeting etc Mr Martin brought my gig home Susan Talley came up with Harriet to Mr Grimes rode my mule to meeting etc. |

Rain a little I went to T Castle to carry a memarardeum for Mr Dandridge to get sugar etc he went down to day sent to Providence for a 3 horse plough got of the Dr cost $13.00 cts Mr Talley & girls came up Miss Henry & Sister Sarah came & quilted to day I went to Bro Saml for wheel drum borrowed 310lbs guano & 2 bushels coal some turnip seed etc fallowing next to river & for turnips etc grubing etc etc |

Fair most of the day a drop or two rain to night - Rained last night pretty shower I went to Ma, & to Locust Grove to see Noel saw my coalts etc Peter went to Depot for coal broke my cart wheel down & left it at Mama, Fallowing with 3 horse plough that I got of the Dr ploughed & raked turnip patch etc |

Fair very warm day I went to Mama, Mr Talley Ann & Mr & Mrs Gouldin went to Dr Gouldins to day Anna diging her well I am makeing a kerb for the well sent Roburt to help about the well brought flour home the mill sent to Depot for coal 1 load (Baler Hulett died to day) at rail rode bridge. Mr Noel sick fallowing grubing beeting up guano to sow on turnip patch |

Fair most of the day a smal[l] shower this evening I finished the kerb for Anna, well Mrs Swann & Miss Henry came up & stayed till the evening Tom Grimes mashed of his finger nale. I put the kerb in at Ann, ploughing turnip patch sowed guano etc ploughed it in etc fallowing, weeding sweet potatoes etc etc |

Rain a little cloudy most of day we came over this evening Mrs Dandridge went to Linnaeus this morning Mr Martin workg on rake & finished it went home this evening between 3 & 4 ock & carried some of my tools Hackett went to Boling Green makg hampers grubing etc |

Rain a pretty one this evening I went to Mr Gouldins to see him about repairing his mashine saw Mr Hewlett & Dr Nelson Bro Saml Carter Harris others at rail rode Miss B Hill went up country I went to Winstons shop & to Mr W Terrells expecting to meet with Thomasia sent my umbrella to C. Harris this eveing - John McL Anderson came upto d I did not see him Fallowintg beyond rock spring on hill sent 6 bushels wheat to mill faned it out etc weeding cotton about stack frame |

Rain this evening cdy day we went to Mr W Terrells & spent the day Louisa T came home with us - saw William Terrell at Cobbs gate the little Lucks went home this morning & Saml Gouldin. Fallowing grubing about top stack etc sent to mill for flour etc. |

Cdy day my hogs got out of house caught them with dogs. Wm Swann brought my cutting box back again & carryed corn home left the key with me he dined hear John & Mr Southward came to the shop this evening Hackett rode my horse yesterday I know not where Cutting down my pines on the river made up my fence on creek |

Ipaid $1.00 to Bro Smith shoe account halling rocks cutting pines in upper field on river fallowing in the corn field |

Fair cool morning cool enough almost for frost I went to T. Castle to see the Dr he went to Depot his wagon got stuck at the mill, Mr Southward & John came up this evening Dr says can have his Horse power sent for a wagon at Mr Wilchers Thomasia & Louisa went to old place for pairs my coalts let is very much swolen etc Mr Noel has been getting out his wheat for more than a week fallowing grubing finished cutting down pines and moved my bridge on the rode sent for wagon etc. |

Fair mild weather finished thrashing oats Mr Southwards faned mine out 26 1/2 bushels Mr S started to Richmond with Citty - carryed the mashine to Mama, commenced thrashing the mammouth wheat had Mr G s hands at Mama, Wm Talley at Ma, Mr S & Wm swoped horses thrashing wheat at Ma, oats for Mr Southward etc. |
