Fair warm day Mr Gouldin came over this morning I paid him 56 dollars my bond I used 2 of my planks on bee house at Mama,s I made 2 bee hives one for Bro Saml Mama, & Sister Sarah went to Mr Gouldins Mama has agreed to let Edmond have her 2 old horses 35 dollars Bro Saml went to Richmond or started finished weeding corn by Canfields weeding by kitchen at Mama, |

Fair very warm day I nailed up some planks & on the bee house made 2 bee hives one for Bro Saml put glass in the boxes cut the glass with Anna, dimond worked Mama new horses toplough Edmond carryed the old horses away to day to sell. Henry Martin cut his leg a good deel to day with a machine weeding corn in my field sent to mill & to shop |

Fair, very warm day to night a drop or 2 rain - I finished off 2 bee hives & carryed them to Bro Saml I hived a swarm of bees for Bro Saml & Edmond came over we went to Wm Swanns to see Henry Martin weeding my watermellon vines Lewis is painting St Lukes meeting house I brought over some straw berries Finished weeding corn the first time weeding peas & makeing hills for potatoes in orchard |

Fair very warm day I was taken sick to day with pain in stomack & moving of bowels & chilines & took oil [blue mask? blue mass was compounded by pharmacy and included mercury] etc Mama & Sister Sarah came over to see me in the evening Wm Swann & wife to Bro Saml to meet with Mrs Minor their sister from the west, she is to come down Saturday morning I put a handle to cultivater ploughing & weeding peas cotton etc planted hire beens & making potatoe hills etc |

Fair most of the day a cool win set out tomatoe plants & collards in the garden & watered them & the tomatoes set out potatoe plants in the orchard by Anna, fence - I rode over to Mama,s this evening I feel very week to day coaltering corn runing a cultivater & weeding etc. |

Fair cool win Kimbroujgh went to Mama, with grey horse & bought him for 5 dollars Edmond came after him came hear & spent the night I have a bee hive of bees at Bro Saml I wed some water mellon vines in patch weeding corn on my land coaltering & rakeing etc thining etc |

Fair warm we went to Richmond James Taylor went with us & brought the horses back to Sister Sophias to stay we went to Mr Dandridge, to stay Sister Sarah stayed at Sister So[hi s Mr Gouldin came up home I bought a box of shed rough [roe] for 1 dollar some sugar etc I paid Sister Sophia the rent for 48 & 49, $50. with work done on the house & money |

Parkers, and left them with him to keep - bought 350 lbs guano of Fry |

Fair warm day I had 3 likeness taken one for Luck & Ann, & Molly & Thomasia & mine taken for Barbara. paid $10 for takeen [taking] them I went to Parkers for my seed he [denied? denied??] my getting them there, after buying the seed he gave me his card, I got the seed after a scuffle - we came out to Sister Sophia, in the evening I bought Thad a pair fo pants 37 1/2 cts. Paid Wm Dandridge $2 in part for things bought ploughing corn weeding etc etc |

Fair warm day very warm we started from Sister Sophia, to Bro Saml I got there in the evening, came by Taylors ville - gave Molly my likeness - Rain a little to night a small shower ploughing corn weeding etc at the new ground and on the road by Hills shop |

Fair warm we came from Bro Saml to Mr Gouldins & dined came home
in the evening I walked over to Mama, & to Anna, looked at winder shades

Rainy evening the heavyest rain we have had for a long time washed my
corn land to pieces Tom B came by on his way to Cty Line lefthis likeness
with Thomasia he got very wet. Mr S Minor attempted to cross the river at the
island foard and washed down below had some difficulty in getting out the
river is pass [past] foarding. |

Fair warm day set out some potatoe plants & some strawberry plants John came in [playtime?] tole me about a koon at the shop we went down & caught an old one & 3 young ones Brag killed the old one in 19 1/2 minutes I commenced fixing the shades at Anna, setting up the corn that washed down ploughing corn by Canfields on new ground |

Dr McKenney dined at Mama, to day. A man brought wheat fans by to sell ploughing corn by Canfields weeding etc. |
