Raining to night very hard win indeed thundered & lightened a good deel a heavy rain passed around in Hanover I road through the corn in the river the loons are eating it a good deel buded some apple & peach trees Lewis Hill went to Mt Airy to day from Anna, the win blew down the corn a good deel weeding potatoes cotton etc

Rain a shower this evening carried John to Mr Lucks he had some water mellons & had company at his house I went to Mama, Cousin F Thompkins & Martha wer at Mama, Edmond Redd brought Miss Rariah Thompkins home again from Louisa he came by tonight to get apples. had my peach trees  wed to day & some of the apple trees. sent a letter to Dr A about Jimmy
weeding potatoes corn on the river chopping it etc had a steer choked to day

Fair very warm day I went to Carmel Bro Harris resigned his pastoral care of the church turned out Trainham for drinking I borrowed $20.00 of Bro Saml & paid it to John W Turner for corn bought of him some time since Anna & Betty came over this evening & set a while
choping the corn by Canfields Hackett went to meeting to day

Rainy evening a very heavy rain. I went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Text 2nd ct of Hebrews 3rd verse [Hebrews 2:3] a good sermon better than common Turner gave me a receibt for $20 pd him yes ter day

Fair very warm day I went to Bro Sams pd him the $20 I borrowed Saturday got some turnip seed for Mama I cut Bro Ss hair brought Betty as far as Mr Gouldins shop I lost her riding cloth in the River moved cow pen at Mama, commenced fallowing for wheat choping corn cutting hay etc etc

Rainy evening a very heavy one. Mr & Mrs Dandridge came up to day. Joseph Sea came to ascess my land etc gave him some turnip seed put fallowing cutting hay etc choping corn & sowed turnip patch for Mama made a cow pen etc

Fair warm day I pulled 4 water mellons to day teh first I have had gave Ma one Wm Dandridge & I rode to my turnip patch & up to Mr Swanns to look at my drum that he makeing for me Mr & Mrs Hils came over & set a while Betty Redd & Betty & [Eviny?} Gouldin came over to Mama, fallowing cutting hay for Mama, put up a pair of bars at my barn

Fair very warm day Bro Saml came over this evening we all walked over to Mama, Bro & I went to the river to look at the corn went to Anna, ate some musk mellon etc I got some buds from Canfields cat heads children went to N Lucks for watermellons fallowing cutting hay etc.

Fair warm day I budded some trees cat heads & cheese winter pulled 3 water mellons Anna came over this evening to see Mr & Mrs Dandridge buded a damson in peach tree ploughing cutting hay etc.

Fair warm day Wm Dandridge & Barbara went to T.Castle in the evening we went down Fleming came up to day Tom went to Bro Saml to cary his horse & I pulled 2 water mellons Dandridge carryed down some of my wheat cutting hay halling up etc put up a small stack for me and 4 stacks for Mama,

Fair a little cool Tom & I went to Cty Line in the buggy Thomasia staid at home or at T. Castle came up home this evening Lucy Lit cut her back with a piece pot

Fair pleasant weather I made a head stall to bridle Hacket went to the Bolilng green I gave him 2 dolalrs topay Dr McKinney He paid him gave him five dollars for self - sent to Swanns for S Gouldins machineput down at mama, this evening Hackett went to Sg & west field cleaning out the wheat yards choping corn bushes etc etc

Fair warm day commenced thrashing Mama, wheat. it is very dusty indeed Mr Gouldin & Charles came over to the machine put 5 horses or mules to it I handled a rake & mended Mr Hills trace charged 25cts for it - Thrashing wheat at Mama,

A few drops rain to night fair day very warm finished Mama, wheat faned out 4 bushels for Mama & sent it to the mill commenced my wheat the mammouth thrashed 2 garners [grain bin where wheat was stored] full Charles & Linnaeus dined hear with John Anderson the Terrells wer hear in play time Edmond Redd came by carrying his leather home finished Mama, wheat commenced mine the mammouth wheat

A small shower thrashing my wheat finished the ball head 3 barrells in the chaff work on the gully wheat it is damp thrashed badly -thrashing wheat hogs in the corn

Fair warm sent to Mt Airy for Sucky to see Maria, she is poly Buck Terrell was at my barn looking at my wheat - finished my wheat thrashing about 12 or 1 oclock - carryed the machine to Anna, I commenced her her wheat Edmond Redd came by Charles came to spend the night Joh Hackett thrashing wheat for self & Anna finished mine etc.

Fair a little cool to day finished Anna, wheat & Canfields carryed the the machine to Mr Gouldins. I went to Jerico paid 25cts to the [davis cor?] bought a pair fo shoes of Tyler for $1.50cts carryed a pair shoes to mend - Noele John brought up the Dickinson case again thrashing wheat etc.

A little fine rain this evening cdy day All hands went to Mr Gouldins & came back again comenced faning my wheat faned out the gully & commenced on the Mammouth faned out about 54 bushels Mr Hackett is going to spend the night at the barn john came up and dined put Mama bull in her pasture

Raining this evening a pretty shower all hands went to Mr Gouldins to get out his wheat carryed 4 males 2 of mine 2 Mama, I rode over came back diner - drying peaches etc. getting out wheat at Mr Gouldins

Cdy day a little fine rain this morning finish evening - my wheat through the chaff & measured it up made about 110 bushels mammouth makeing about 240 or 250 bushels in all 3+ nearly a 1/2 of ball head halled a load wood to Mas & hear to dry pe4aches etc I gave Dr Anderson some mammouth wheat to send Mr Stabler faning wheat comme3nced at Mama,

Rain all night last rainy morning the ballance of the day fair it was the heaviest rain & win that I have seen for a long time I went to Cty Line to meeting Bro Allen preached a good deel of feeling with the members in the evening the mill sistern broke loose last night by the fresh water still a riseing [is "fresh" like crest??]

Fair a little cool to day I went to Cty Line to meeting Bro Billingsly preached Bro Trice came I came home to diner I went with Miss Henry & Molly & children to mill tosee the high water the river is very full indeed Miss Mary Leeper was at the shop this evening finished runing the wheat through at Mama, we measured up 135 bushels in all commenced the stack frame by my barn - grubing etc.
