1st Fr

Fair I went to Canfields had my axle tree mended charged 75 cts. Uncle Bily Taylor is at Mamas – Bob halled 2 loads of bricks – 620 – grubing etc

2nd Sat

Fair we went to Carmel Bro Harris preached halling fodder from new ground & stacked it 2 stacks grubing etc

3rd Sun

Fair warm evening we went to T Castle to dining day great many persons there came home to night pulling fodder by Canfields I am to let John Dickinson 5 or 10 bushels wheat for 35 cts a bushel -

Fair very warm day working on a little house pulling fodder shocking it etc - - thundering & lightning Llewellyn sick to day -

Fair part of the day cool day rained a few drops I went to Linnaeus, for a trunk Miss Harriet & Miss Luck came up to stay several days – pulling fodder I covered a house etc etc

Fair very cool morning I went to Allens to take down some bricks killed a squirl finished pulling fodder commenced cutting tops Bro Anderson came by and suped

8th Fr

Fair cool getting rock – for Anna Miss Luck went to T. Castle to day - - stacking fodder one stack cutting tops by Cobbs -

A shower this evening – finished stacking fodder 2 stacks commenced diging Irish potatoes dug a horse cart load – sent Bob for 4 sheep at Mr Addams,

Clear most of the day very fine day spent the day at home received a bundle of wheat to day of Wm Taylor that came from Washington Cyly

Shower this evening finished diging potatoes gathering beens faned out a turn wheat

Fair cool day I went to Mr Noells to look at my shingles Molley went home this evening – finished cutting tops by Cobbs commenced by Canfields this evening late

Shower this evening I went to Jerico to carry 4 bushels wheat to grind. gathered all my purl beens cutting tops by Canfields – picking out cotton etc

15th Fr

Cdy day I went to Mama, & faned out her wheat Bro Herndon came by – got 2 bls corn of Mama finished cutting tops -

Rain till 12 or 1 ock I sent to Jerico for the flour. about stack frame. moved cow pen etc – Thad carryed his puppys to Linnaeus, to sell

Clear nearly all day – wen went to Carmel Bro Herndon & Battle preached some feeling among the congregation halling fodder from new ground finished commenced stacking cutting rail timber etc etc etc

Rain a little to night we went to Carmel Bro Hurndon preached Mr Trainham talked to the church Miss Vass & others came home this evening finished stacking tops rakeing etc etc

Fair Rain to night most of the day we went to Carmel had preaching by Bro Hurndon we went to T Castle & spent the night Mr Bowers spent the night there all hands went to meeting

Fair day Rain at night last we came home by T. Castle Bro Battle & Hurndon preached – to day receiver 3 or 4 persons rakeing fallowed land grubing etc

Fair a frost cool day – I went to Carmel Bro Taylor preached 2 sermons. I pd George $2.45 cts owe him ["18 3/4 ct. now" lined through] pd all rakeing gathering apples etc

Fair cool day we went by T Castle & to Carmel Bro Battle preached in the morning &
Bro Taylor in the evening we came home I subscribed 2 $ for bible society - - -

Fair I went to Carmel with Mama & Sister Sarah Bro Hurndon & Battle preached rakeing halling up corn picking cotton etc etc sent ploughs to mill got 1/2 bl of corn of Canfield -

Fair cool day I went to Carmel Bro Nattle & Hurndon preached. the meeting broke this evening lasted 10 days - - halling up corn by the grave-yard to the stack commenced shucking rakeing fallowed – ground sent to mill for meal

Fair cool day I faned out 5 bushels wheat & swaped with George England for 5 bushels red-shuck wheat got 4 ploughs from the shop about 1/2 done up broke the two double ploughs ploughing square in the garden ploughing for wheat I killed 4 birds patridges – sent the ploughes back to shop cutting down corn by Cobbs – halled 2 loads- I washed my guns to day

Fair warm most of the day Martin Jones & myself went to Wares after turkeys I killed 1 bird – sent to mill for ploughs finished ploughing the garden ploughing by turnip patch halling corn etc

Fair I faned out my gully wheat made from one point one bushe & a half & 7 quarts clear wheat faned out some Medertaranean – finished ploughing by the turnip patch I sowed about 3 points Mamoth wheat. in the new garden Pd W Noell 25$ for Coghill Martin, horse account -

Shower I went to meeting Bro Harris preached – I helped to raise Anna, house this morning sent for the – Dr to see John rakeing wheat land & beeting clods in the garden – halling up corn from Cobbs
