Rain a pretty shower – Mr Tate & I commenced pulling down the shop at Anna, about 11 ock – ploughing reeplanting corn etc hogs rooted up my corn by Cobbs -

Rainy day showery working on shop with Tate & Robert stuck peas halling manure to the garden ploughing brakeing out balks

Fair warm working on shop. buffalo cow Emma had a calf her 3rd calf fee male fencing ploughing etc

Fair warm day working on Anna, house with Mr Tate & Martin ploughing garden for greens & the sweet potatoe patch halling manure etc shelling corn

5th Fr

Rain this evening I went to Walker Terrells for some timber for Anna – working on the house got 1 bu potatoes of W Terrell hilling potatoe hills planted a few moved the house to day

6th Sat

Cdy warm day. I went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Text 2nd ct Philippians part 16 verse first part gave 2$ & a 1/4 to the little book working on the house this evening set out greens planted potatoes sweet – reeplanting corn by Cobbs brakeing out balks etc

Shower to day we went to T Castle & to Carmel Bro Harris preached

Rain a little to night – I went to Terells mill for plank halled 2 loads weather boarding for shop working on house this evening planted sweet potatoes – reeplanting corn ploughing by Cobbs etc. . .

Fair working on house commenced weeding corn by Canfields -

Rain a heavy one this evening working on house for Anna – reeplanting corn by turnip patch weeding corn etc etc. ["8 days" entered above next entry: days of work for Anna]

Fair cool day working on house sent to T. Castle for cabbage plants set them out & a[m] putting manure around the corn raming post in the garden etc etc etc

Cdy rain a little halled poles for scaffolds – working on the house weeding corn cetc

Fair a frost cool day I put up my sheep & sheared them the 6 yielded 30 lbs wool – halled a load corn from mama, 3 barrells got in all working on house planted peas etc weeding corn.

Fair cool day We went to Cty Line Bro Allen preached Bro Hall preached in the evening Maria had a child to day girl.

Fair, very warm day – we went to Carmel Bro Harris preached he preached at Mama, - this evening funeral sermon Bro Sam dined hear to day

Fair very warm day Mr Tate & I finished the weather boarding – I went to S Cobbs bought two trees for 4$ - finished weeding potatoes in garden the old part or patch weeding corn Nelson laid up - -

A shower Mr Tate & I went for a shingle tree got 4 stocks off of it commenced weather boarding the north side ploughing & weeding corn.

Cdy we went to Cobb sin the 2 carts for 2 stocks – getting shingles etc weeding beets corn etc a good rain last night

Rain a hard shower I halled 5 barrels corn from mama, am to have it for 2$ - sow missing has pigs 11 2nd litter – triming peach trees thining corn etc etc
