Rainy morning I went to C armel with Bro Harris & Dr Gouldin – they came over & sat till bed time malling rails throwing up manure halling etc in orchard

Fair cool day Thomasia & I went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Text 2nd Corinthians 4th ct 3rd verse

Fair cool I went to N Lucks to look at his oat land Dr Gouldin went down to day Thomasia & children went to Mr Gouldins spent the day. plowed & planted a beet & carriot patch planted 1/2 bu rohan potatoes etc ploughing the garden for potatoes

Fair mild sowing oats at Napolean Lucks sowed 5 bushels raked them over etc cut down the stalks we dined at Mama, to day.

Fair mild finished sowing my oats at Lucks sowed 2 bu & 3 pecks ploughing the garden etc etc Martha, child died to day at T Castle she was burrtied at T Castle. made a cake killed a turkey etc Mr Jessey came to get list of property – I have 1 more lamb hird a whippowill hallow to night.

Fair cool evening Bro Saml & wife Mamas family & Mr Gouldins dined hear to day Louisa & Miss H Hill I went to Cobbs – ploughing by Cobbs – halling manure to the garden etc etc. . .

Fair mild a frost planting corn by S Cobbs planting it in Burruss corn – went to L Cobbs for 2 puppys beagles shelling – corn

Fair mild day I finished planting corn by Cobbs – sent to mill etc etc Anna came over to night – to spend the night.

Fair I spent the day mostly at home -

Fair warm day I went to court carryed Tom Norse spent 56 cts pd Tom 25 cr Dr Gouldin came up to Mama,s halling manure to the corn field

Fair warm day Lightened & thundered this evening Thomasia & I went to T. C. this evening halling manure with both carts Hackett brought a wheal to bush & box – Llewellyn went to scool to day

Rainy evening I went to Bro Sams for my cows bought 62 1/2 cts worth of corduroy halling manure to corn field

Fair cool day I sowed plaster on wheat 6 bu halled 2 loads manure from the house chimney to garden planted corn & cucumbers seed 2 kinds planted cymblains seed scattering manure & ploughing for corn halled a load rails to fence on gap by Mt Airy.

Fair cool day we went to T Castle in the evening planting corn on the manured land by Canfields moved the fence by turnip patches etc finished sowing plaster on wheat

Fair a large frost – I went to meting at Carmel Bro Harris preached. Miss H Anderson came up to T Castle & home with us. Text John 13 ct 17th verse. .

Fair very cold morning – a large frost ground frozen halling manure to garden for potatoes finished ploughing the potatoe patch finished manureing water mellon patch fenced it in raked the cotton patch over shelling corn etc etc I went to Chiles burg to see Tate came by Mr Gatewoods saw tate – Mama & Sister Sarah & Mr Luck came over this evening

21st Fr

Fair mild a large frost I finished planting corn planting irish potatoes – in the garden 1 bu – sent to mill for meal & chop ploughed cotton patch Mr Gouldin came to my garden to see me about Ll – Linnaeus & I went to Linch Cobbs, - Bob went to Richmond

Fair cool evening – we went to the Afley fishing came home in the evening -

Cdy day cool a drop or two of rain I went to Mrs Coalmans to see Mr Carter about Frank halling manure to the cotton patch & potatoe patches planted cotton ploughing for peas etc

Cdy Rain to night Mr Tate came & put a window & fraimed a small house commenced after breakfast To 1 days work ploughed pea patch & potatoe patch etc etc halling manure etc

Cdy most of the day I went to Goldans ville to the election voted for Dr White – diging holds in garden for butter beens frame. malling rails – fencing by Mt Airy gate I sowled my horse Tom to day To Lilburn Allen. - - -

Fair mild day I went to Mr Martins Mr Lanes Mr Talleys & Edmond Carters – dined there I sowled – my horse Tom for 65$. – to Mr Allen got him to day ploughing brakeing out balks reeplanting corn halling rails

Rain this evening Miss H Anderson Thomasia & children & I went to Mrs Terrells spent the day - - William Terrell planted seet potatoes to day ploughing reeplanting corn etc sent to mill for meal & chop
