Fair mild halling manure a load of wood – faned out 6 bu wheat sowed sowed 3 1/2 bu rakeing it in scattering manure cutting down corn etc killed 2 birds I hare Lewis borrowed candle, molds -

Fair mild sowing wheat sowed 3 bushels wheat & my gully wheat Bro Carpenter & Lewis Redd came over we went hunting I killed a squirl ["shelling corn" lined through] halled a load corn cutting down corn Dab helping I sowed 1 pt. wheat gulley

Fair warm day faned out a turn wheat 5 1/2 bu sent it – to mill & corn had a bl flour ground ploughing by the meadow halling corn cutting etc Dab helping – Mr Carpenter & I went – hunting killed 6 birds -

Fair warm day cutting down corn halling etc I washed & sowed 3 bushels wheat by the meadow shucking corn etc Mama & Sister Sarah went to Dr Gouldins

Fair mild weather I went hunting after turkeys started a gobler killed a squirl in Mr Buttlers cutting down corn ploughing hall – up corn etc Mr martin came for the mare borrowed my cart is to give 7 $ for the mair. Saw Bro Sam at mill

Fair cool I went to Carmel Bro Phillips preached we went to Bro Sams – ploughing the meadow finished halling up corn Thad – worked 1/2 of the day

Fair faned out 5 1/2 bushels wheat washed 2 1/2 sowed 1 bu in the meadow finished ploughing the meadow – halled a load of corn shucking & shelling corn to night Henry Martin came with my cart.

Fair clouds flying about very warm day south win Sowed 2 1/2 bushels wheat some in the meadow & some by the barn opening water furrows in the meadow sent to W Swanns for a hog did not get him. sent corn to the mill got a load plank. Sally Lord went down home for good & all -

Rainy day Thomasia went to Mt Airy I suppose she will spend the night Llewellyn stayed at home to day sent to mill for meal. sowed 1 1/2 bushel, wheat by my barn & shop faned out 40 1/2 bushels of rye made 15 bushels in all shucking corn etc

Fair halled a load wood sent sow to T. Castle shucking corn had a corn shucking to night Hackett came over with his hans Lewis Redd breakfast hear to day Thomasia came home

Cdy a small shower this – evening shucking corn – sowing wheat finished meadow all that was ploughed. – sow 1/2 bu white bearded wheat & a 1/2 bu Medertaranean – put my beef in Mama, pasture sowed 30 bushels wheat in all

Rain a little in the morning we went to Mr Edmond Andersons spent the day & night opening water furrows shucking corn etc

Fair rain last night Mr Anderson & I went to Taylors Ville to meeting

Fair cool we came home by T Castle met Dr John Anderson & Daughter shucking corn cutting logs for a house I went to Englans for cow hair & leather got 2 skins killed 4 birds 1 heair

Fair a large frost Mr Martin commenced work for me cutting & halling logs halled a load of wood commenced halling & houseing my corn put away 9 1/2 barrels

Fair mild commenced putting up – Moria, house got it up 3 logs high halled a load of – rock to the house killed a beef house ing corn put up 16 bls -

Fair warm day I cut out my beef & salted it, sent – Mama a quarter weighing 52 lbs Mr Martin & I went with Hackett over the river after a koon found a turkey etc sent Mama 3 1/2 bls of corn to pay for that borrowed let Anna have 24 lbs beef at 5 cts lb $1.20 cts put up 5 lbs corn in corn house making 8 1/2 in all put away to day – halled a load of wood sent to T Castle for hog did not get her putting up the house

Rain commenced raining – in the night cool evening – faned out 22 1/2 bushels wheat Mr Martin & I comenced working on a table worked about 3 hours sent corn to mill brought 2 loads plank from the mill we went hunting I killed a squirl & birds -

Fair cool cutting Joice & plates for house put away the greens Mr Martin went to Mt Airy to fix loom etc etc. sent to T Castle for sow sent to John Burruss, for corn got 2 1/2 in years bu went to T Castle

21st Sun

Fair cold morning a very large frost we went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Tom came up, we came home in evening -

Fair mild working on the house hewing it down, halling rock covered the greens. ploughing by the stack shucking corn [Johs?]

23rd Tus

Rainy day or showery day cut a log sent it to mill swaped scantlin with Mr Gouldin working on the house & a little at the barn ploughing shelling corn beet out purl beens etc

24th W

Rain a powerful rain in the evening Mr Martin worked a little on house hewed a plate etc working on table legs madest them etc. I went to mill shelling corn halled a load of wood & 2 of shingles to garden house

Snow a few flakes cool day a large frost finished weather boarding commenced shinglin etc halling rock Tom Martin Hackett & I went hunting

Fair cool day we finished chingleing the cabbin put up the corn put the cows at the stack halled a load of wood I went hunting for turkeys [sketch of 6 turkeys]
