Fair warm day I cut out my beef & salted it, sent – Mama a quarter weighing 52 lbs Mr Martin & I went with Hackett over the river after a koon found a turkey etc sent Mama 3 1/2 bls of corn to pay for that borrowed let Anna have 24 lbs beef at 5 cts lb $1.20 cts put up 5 lbs corn in corn house making 8 1/2 in all put away to day – halled a load of wood sent to T Castle for hog did not get her putting up the house |
