Fair warm I went for the Dr to see Llewellyn who is quite sick – Dr came up – I plastered the potatoes in the new garden etc to day wed over the cotton [planted some peas white in the orchard – [navy beans] ploughing the corn. Cousin Nancy Radford came over this evening & sat a while |

Rain in the evening shelled a turn of corn set out 2 rows of sweet potatoes & 2 rows of apple trees on the hill as you go to Canfields weeding corn ploughing etc etc Dr Anderson came to see Llewellyn sent for him Mama came over & brought some apples greenings [old English variety] |

Cdy and cool day Dr Anderson came up twice to day to see Llewellyn Thomasia is sick has the measles I think broke out set out 4 rows of apple trees some place ploughing the corn by the out gate weeding etc. . . . Blossom had a male calf to day |

Fair milder Dr Anderson came up twice to see Llewellyn 5 have the measles. put on a blister on the left side this evening on Llewellyn Mrs Gatewood & Cousin Nancy Radford – Miss B Hill & others came this evening – to see Thomasia – and children sent to mill for meal & slabs Bos went to J Dickinsons for a sheep sheered it & sent it to Mama, - - - - ploughing in the meadow weeding corn etc |

Fair warm Dr Anderson came up this morning talks of going to richmond this evening Sister Emily & Sister Swann came spent the day. . will stay all night ploughing commenced by the shop Anna, ploughed & planted a few rows of forward corn from T. Castle on the next to C-Fields reeplanting corn by my shop planted some purl beans in my garden got some – Irish potatoes for dinner & some snaps – sent a plough or 2 to the mill to point |
