Fair I came up home to run a fence hired Bob & Billy & Ben to fence finished halling the rails from orchard I went for Thomasia & the children this evening came up home Linnaeus planted his Irish potatoes on the river

Rain this evening and a heavy rain last night finished fencing the pasture fence Livvys calf died to day killed by a mule sticking peas & beans -

Fair ploughed about 1/2 of the cotton patch & wed it weeding corn by the gate sticking the beens – peas etc dined at Mamas Thomasia & self

Fair warm Dr Anderson sent for 3 1/2 bushels potatoes Hackett came to weed corn planted cymblain seed I sowled Olivy to W Swann for 14 $ throughing dirt to the corn in wet bottom

A small shower Vass sent 2 hands to weed corn finished the wet bottom Martha is laid up - - - weeding corn throwing the dirt from the corn & back again

Fair I went to Carmel Bro Lowery red a chapter etc Mr Vass came up this evening & helped to wed corn weeding corn by plant beds

Fair spent the day at home about the house

Cdy commenced cutting wheat front of the house weeding corn beets etc sent to mill for chop meal

Rainy morning making caps for garden getting been sticks sent to Mama, & Mrs Swanns for straw berry vines set out 9 rows weeding corn ploughing cotton etc

Rainy day mostly fine rain shelling corn working on art body made swingle tree thining corn in new ground etc budded 10 trees apple 6 cheese 4 R wildings [apple trees growing in the wild]

Rainy day north east wind cool choping bushes & briers in the corn field sharpning stakes etc I made a coamb. - -

Rainy day rained very hard part of the time – choping corn poling the fence pasture - - I made a bee hive & set it on top of hive

Rainy morning we went to Annas in the evening Miss E B Hill came over . .

Shower thining corn cutting wheet etc spreding out my wheet is very wet etc I went to the mill

Rain a hard shower caught all my wheat out. finished cutting the forward wheet thining corn etc – I went to new ground to look at wheat – budded several plomb trees from S. Rs

Fair most of the day cutting wheat by the new Barn thining corn etc etc white washed my house to day 3 rooms. - - took a bee hive for Mama

Rain a shower in evening I have been sick all day I hived a swarn of bees in the garden – ploughing corn cutting wheat etc

Shower in the evening cutting wheat commenced halling up etc hilled 5 loads we went to T Castle Linnaeus pd me 10 $ for potatoe[s]

Fair cool day finished cutting my wheat by the barn Hacketts & hands helping etc ploughing in the morning sent to mill for ploughs I took a bee hive barrell

Fair cool day windy etc finished cutting wheat by Cobbs Mama, hands helped to cut I killed a lamb W Swann sent to Depot for my things & his molasses the most of it lost – hive of beas went away

Fair cool finished halling up my wheat by my Barn & house halling with 2 carts sent a iron to mill yoke iron Lucy Redd & Mama went to Bro Saml to day

Fair warm ploughing corn new ground weeding etc carryed Blossum to Bull Lucy R Sarah T B & Molly dined hear to day worked over my water mellon vines

Fair warm Finished halling wheat by Cobbs ploughing corn by corn house took Bull

Fair very warm plastered some potatoes & corn etc ploughed pumpkin patch wed over the beets etc ploughed the greens weeding the m [?] etc commenced ploughing corn by corn house took Bull

Rain a good one this evening we went to Carmel Bro Lewis preached Text Joel 3 ct 18 verse we went to T Castle came up home

Fair cdy part of the day Shower to night – ploughing the corn throwing the dirt to a part on set out beets all large enough reeplanting potatoes etc

Rainy evening a shower last night Thad went to Chester Field with S & L Redd - - ploughing finished ree planting potatoes weeding corn etc putting a top to arbour etc
