Fair warm day Commenced pulling fodder to day ploughing etc

2nd Tus

Fair very warm day I rode to see Vinkner getting shingles pulling fodder shocking up etc I went to the mill had a horse shod in front

3rd W

Fair very warm day suckered over my tobacco pulling fodder shocking the same putting it up the barn I rode down to Canfields & to Mr Martins to see [Henry?] to get my whet stone Bro Addams brought some spokes by to get a wheel mended

4th Th

A drop or two of rain Bro Addams brought his wheels to have one spoked putting the fodder in the barn putting & shocking up etc I went to where V is getting shingles

5th Fr

Fair I ground the cutting nives etc etc finished putting fodder at home commenced by Cobs. putting some in the barn sent Bob to the mill & over to Mr Gouldins for a sow & pigs did not get them 

6th Sat

Fair We went to T Castle I went to Carmel Bro Harris Preached Text Matthew 5th Ct 13th verse sent Bob for a sow & pigs got 4 pigs & a sow for 3 $ pulling fodder put up all the fodder by the House Thad helping to pull fodder

7th Sun

Fair I went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Mony & Ann Eliza went home in the evening with Marcellus from meeting we came I paid 1 $ 25 cts for Bro Harris

8th M

Rain Walker Terrell came to look at a cow pulling fodder Ellin & Thad is helping to pull Miss B Blackford came over this evening

9th Tus
61 bu wheat

Rainy day cutting tops in front of the house faning out wheat made 18 bushels of Terrells wheat faned out 36 bushels of red wheat to day. Making 45 of red wheat in all 2 1/2 shattered wheat [wheat that has dispersed ripe seeds] durty 61 in all to pay fox commenced cutting hay on the swamp & for manure

Fair finished rounding W spokes cutting tops tying them up etc pulling fodder Ellen helping to day gave Anna some tomatoes etc

Fair working on the wheel I rode to se Vinkner Cobbs & by Fli Cobbs brick yard. . . cutting tops by Cobbs finished pulling fodder Hackett hired out his

Fair finished the wheel finished shocking etc I went to the mill & to S Gouldins shop for a little blue paint etc

13th Sat

Fair finished cuttin  tops at the new ground I went to see Listern Cobbs for S Redd put 2 pigs under the dary gathering black peas etc etc Molly M Redd dined hear to day

14th Sun

Rain till 12 o clock fair evening we went to T Castle this evening & back home again

Fair Vinkner Cobbs & man finished cutting tops tying up etc pained Bro Addamses wheel

16th Tus

Fair working on the barn sheds raised one side finished tying up tops halling fodder from the new ground commenced stacking at the barn W Terell came for Pink started with hir & came back etc

17th W

Fair working on the sheds halling fodder put up 2 or 3 stacks. W Terrell carryed pink home to day I saw Miss B Hill & Mama went to Mr Martin, & to the mill to inform Winston about working on the rode to morrow

18th Th

Fair warm day I worked on the road to day Mr Martin & Samson were absent to day stacking fodder Miss Leeper & Anna came over this evening on a visit worked on the road W Terrell was married to night

19th Fr

Fair & warm day we went to Bro Saml and to Carmel Bro Harris preached finished stacking my blade fodder finished toping – tobacco halling rails for the fence around the top stack. came home this evening

20th Sat

Fair winday day I went to Carmel – Bro Fife preached in the morning put up my stack frame made a fence around it grubing etc etc

21st Sun

Rainy morning commenced raining in the night spent the day at home

Fair & cool day we went to Carmel Bro Fife preached in the morning Text John 4th Ct 29 verse Bro Taylor preached in the evening Text Proverbs 4th ct 13th verse halling up fodder all day W Swann [s]pent the night

Fair a frost this morning I went to Carmel Bro Tayylor preached Text James 4th ct 3 verse Bro Lewis preached this evening stacking fodder tops finished the shed part Mr Leml Terrell died in the west. I gave 75 cts to the preachers

Fair & cool we went to Carmel Bro Hatchet pred in the morning Text John 5th ct last part of the 6th verse. (Wilt thou be made hold). Bro Lewis preached this evening Text 2nd Corinthians 6th ct 2nd verse commenced halling fodder from the new ground 2 or 3 lodes hands went to meeting

Fair cool cdy evening Bro Gaskin preached in the morning Text Luke 10th ct 42nd verse – Bro Lewis preached Text Hebrews 13th ct 20 & 21 verses pulled 2 lodes of fodder & stacked it sent for my shingles got 2 loads gathered a good many black peas to day

Fair & a fine day I went to Carmel Bro Lewis preached 2 sermons to day & very good indeed – the meeting broke to day halling & stacking fodder gathering peas etc etc

27th Sat

Fair we went to T. C in the evening finished stacking fodder & halled 2 lodes of shingles worming tobacco

28th Sun

Fair we went to C Line came home dined at Mama,s Mrs N Luck died a few days ago & W Redds wife Bro Powel preached Text Luke the prodigal sone [Luke 15: 11-32]

29th M

Fair warm Linnaeus came by left some phisick for me to take I had a swimming in my hed Cutting down corn in front of the house halling it up etc commenced shucking to night halled 2 or 3 lodes of rails for stack

30th Tus

Cdy a few drops of rain I rode to see the shingles Miss B Hill pd her account for the beef I pd hers for granry finished the rake and a double bar sent it to the shop to have the irons put on
