Rain I went to the Fair at Cty Line spent 80 cts reeplanting corn ditching commenced a ditch on the main rode. throughing up the manure in a pen

Fair I soled 4 bu of potatoes 1 1/2 to George England he ows 12 1/2 cts throughing up the manure at the stack in pens sent a hide to the tan yard

3rd Sat
water

Fair I went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Rev. 2nd ct last part of the 10th vers We went to T. Castle reeplanting corn planted my black peas & some red peas in corn field planted water mellon seed

4th Sun

Rain showery evening I went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Text – Romans 14th ct 12th verse I pd $1.25 for Bro Harris and $1.00 for the Foreign mission society We came up home on horse back

5th M

Rainy day cool finished reeplanting corn by Cobbs getting the old morter off the bricks halling straw etc Mama went to Richmond planted water mellon seed red eyes.

Newton Do

Rainy evening I soled a peck of potatoes to Mrs Newton for which she is to pay 12 1/2 cts finished halling straw halling rails for sheep pen and mule pen etc sent 2 ploughs to mill & brought a load of san for water mellon hills ditching ploughed a potatoe patch by the barn & the hog pen etc etc

7th W

Tolerable fair day I went to Gouldins got a pair of old [shavs?] gave 1 1/2 bu Irish potatoes diging out the seller all hands halling out the dirt by the side of the meadow etc sent to the mill for slabs, ploughs, shavs, etc [perhaps spoke shave?, a variety of hand plane] sold 1/2 bu irish potatoes 25 cts

8th Th

Fair cool day north wind I went to see Canfield about mending iron shafts etc commenced weeding corn Dr Anderson came to see Moria. she had a boy this evening diging out the seller erc

9th Fr

Fair weeding corn by the house etc planted potatoes by the barn gave Mr Gouldin some pumpkin seed diging out the seller.

10th Sat

Fair warm weeding corn planted peas, cymblins etc planted potatoes 1/2 bu in hog pen diging out the seller We went to T. Castle I put up a pair of shavs on my barouch that I got of Mr Gouldin

11th Sun

Fair we went to the rail rode to meet with Mrs Dandridge went to Bro Saml in the evening (Ewe had a lamb)

12th M

Fair we came back to T Castle to dinner Linnaeus went to Baltimo this morning - - came up home this evening

13th Tus

Fair warm weeding corn by Anna, fence I went to T. Castle Saw W Dandridge sent for a coat & brl nails Thomasia had a very bad head ache today

14th W

Rain about night a great deal of lightning etc weeding corn finished all in front of the house planted watermellon seed in the cotton patch pop corn etc etc sent Mr Luck some water mellon seed had a swarm of bees Katy lade up today

15th Th

Rain a little this evening cdy day finished setting out collard plants thining corn in front of the house sheared 4 sheep to day weeding corn this evening Katy lade up for 2 days.

16th Fr

Cdy cold north wind very cool day weeding corn by the house & barn halled a lode of wood I made a pen around the mule house.

Rainy day I had a chil this morning I milked Olivia got smart milk she has never had a calf diging out the seller halled 2 lodes of wood etc

Fair cdy in the morning We went to T Castle found Mrs Anderson very sick I went to Carmel Bro Harris preached Text Heb 4th ct 1st verse

Fair miled I came up with Llewellyn home sent him to scool made a rake & a bea hive a swam of bees went off weeding corn back of the house shered a sheep to day

20th Tus

Rain a little finished weding corn by the house ploughing by Cobbs, choped over the botton patches planted pumpkin seed etc Llewellyn stayed all night at Sister Swann's I went to T. Castle

21st W

Fair Commenced weeding corn by Cobbs. Llewellyn and I went to T Castle. Lewis Redd dined hear to day Bro Allen went to T Castle & spent the night Mrs Anderson is still very sick - - -

22nd Th

Fair warm evening we came up from T. Castle to breakfast. Mrs Anderson is worce weeding corn reeplanted cotton etc

23rd Fr

Rain in the evening and at night a fine ran weeding corn Llewellyn & my self went to T Castle

24th Sat

Fair halling manure on a tobacco lot by the meadow thining corn etc I went to T Castle in the evening

25th Sun

Fair very cool day a north west wind Tom B Wm G Dandridge & Barbara came up to see Mrs Anders she is very low

Fair cool I came up home went back in the evening Mrs A is better it is thought weeding corn thining etc W Swann had a bushel & a half of potatoes this evening. 75 cts Dr

27th Tus

Fair warmer came up with Llewellyn went to T Castle in the evening I. Dickinson got a bushel & a 1/2 potatoes pd for them finished ploughing by Cobbs weeding corn etc

28th W

Fair warm & windy I went to T. Castle Mrs A is no better Charles Fox had 2 bushels potatoes on credit pd for the night before. weeding corn thining it etc

29th Th

Rain a little in the evening finished weeding corn the first time to day I went to T Castle Miss B Hill & Miss M Tompkins & Mrs Harris are at TC. & others

Fair very cool day halling manure for Tobacco thining corn etc Martha lade up I went to Mr Keans & to Chiles Burg & home went to T Castle. {Mrs Anderson dyed about 10 ock at night} Winston had 1/2 bu potatoes Minor ditching to day

Fair cool weather I went to Mr Gouldins to have a coffin made for Mrs Anderson - - Bro Harris preached - . – finished halling manure for Tob weeding Irish potatoes etc hewing post for a gate etc
