Rain a little hail I went to the mill with Thomasia & children went to Mr S Gopuldins Dr Gouldin & Carpenter dined with him I saw Winston & W Swann at the mill [Grebin?] Spencer brought 2 hoes & a spade down from Mr Watkins listing halling wood etc had my hair cut to day William Swann & Winston joined the shop at the mill shelling corn Mama has an overseer Johnson |

Fair killed 3 hogs this morning pulled the old kitchen down patching up the fence on the hill by the fodder stack made a fence around the stack I saw Dr Gouldin S Gouldin & Mr Harris at Mama,s there was something said about sebttling with Mama & about Dab |

Fair cool day weighed my hogs – 3 weighed 204 lbs making 1154 lbs in all sent Lewis to T Castle for ashes carried the Dr’s wash stand ploughing etc I went to [“the Depot” lined out] Chesterfield for a coat frock pd. 5.00 for it and to Terell Cobbs and hired Bartlett for 471/2$ he is to be sent Monday morning I met Dr Anderson at Hills shop |
